HOW MUCH WILL MY CEREMONY COST?
The pricing structure of your ceremony will depend on whether it is for a marriage, baby naming ceremony or vow renewal. For a quote please contact me!
IS MY WEDDING CEREMONY LEGAL?
Yes! I am proudly a member of Entheos Ireland which has legal solemnising status and I am on the Register of Solemnisers. As a celebrant, my aim is to give you the perfect ceremony in any location you want. If you have already married legally, or just want a commitment ceremony with no legals, don’t fret! I can provide a non-legal ceremony if that is your wish. It’s your day, your way!
WHAT IS ENTHEOS IRELAND?
Entheos Ireland was founded to serve people who have been ostracised, marginalised or otherwise left behind by traditional faith paths on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, parental/family status or any other reason. WHAT EXACTLY IS INVOLVED IN ORDER FOR MY MARRIAGE TO BE LEGAL IN IRELAND?
For all couples, you must make an appointment with the HSE for your “intent to marry”. You sign these documents in the HSE a minimum of 3 months before you want to be legally married. At this meeting you nominate your celebrant from the Register of Solemnisers. You will be given the infamous “green folder” which you bring on your wedding day to sign with two witnesses. After the ceremony you return this form to the HSE and you receive your wedding licence. Confused? Give me a ring and I’d be happy to chat through the steps clearly and simply.
HOW SIMILAR IS YOUR CEREMONY TO A “TRADITIONAL” WEDDING?
That’s the beauty of the freedom of a celebrant. As I am a member of Entheos Ireland we are so inclusive. I am not bound by any one ethos or religion and I can include any elements into your day, meaning it can be as close to a traditional wedding as you would like - readings, prayers, candles. Alternatively, you can have the most individual, experimental and unique ceremony you wish. I am here to guide you!
I DON’T LIVE IN IRELAND BUT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CEREMONY THERE. CAN YOU HELP RECOMMEND LOCATIONS?
Absolutely. There are so many beautiful venues and locations scattered around Dublin and Wicklow that I know well and I would love to help you find the perfect spot. The only thing I can’t control is the weather!
